Program Overview

Denver Area Youth Services (DAYS) promotes and provides a continuum of human services to children, youth, and families. We offer comprehensive, high quality programs at little or no-cost to over 1,500 individuals in the greater Denver area each year.

DAYS focuses our efforts in the following four program areas:

  • Positive Alternatives through Home Services (PATHS)

PATHS programs offer community supervision services to pre-adjudicated youth. The goal of PATHS programming is to ensure youth return to court and ensure community safety by reducing the rate of recidivism.

  • Transitional Services

Transitional Services supports paroled youth and their family during their transition back into the community. In addition, Transitional Services programs provide out-of-home placements to young children, paroled adolescents, and teen mothers.

  • Treatment Services

Treatment programs engage youth in out-patient and in-home services, allowing them to overcome addiction, disengage from negative activities and behaviors, and gain the self-worth necessary to become a productive member of their family and community.

  • Prevention Services

Prevention programs provide the education and resources necessary for young people to make positive choices, for families to strengthen relationships and for guardians to communicate with their children about tough topics.
