DAYS provides information, facilitates behavior skills and social support with access to facilities and other resources that will ensure an increase for physical activity with youth. Skills, strategies, and methods will be provided in educational sessions with time-lined physical activities for youth participants. Our overall goal is to increase knowledge of diabetes prevention and increase behavioral activity of fitness in weekly routines for youth participants. Activities include, conditioning and weight training, walking/hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and mountain biking/camping.
